Hi audience and subscribers
of www.motivated2success.biz , today in our interview, I will like you to
welcome a very special person, a friend of mine and someone whom you will be
motivated to be like.
Help me welcome Jeet
Banerjee of www.jeetbanerjee.com the 21 Year Old Serial Entrepreneur from South
Carolina, Digital Marketing Consultant with lots of successful
Internet Companies he started. He has been featured in VentureBeat.com, Yahoo
News, Yes Magazine , Young Entrepreneurs YE, New York Times, Does What, TEDx and you really need to hear him.
INTERVIEWER: WELCOME, MAY WE MEET YOU?
JEET: Sure thing!
INTERVIEWER:
WELL, YOU ARE QUITE YOUNG YET HAVE ACHIEVED A LOT IN
BUSINESS WORLD.
WHAT IS YOUR SECRET?
JEET: I have just taken massive action. Most people have great ideas, but they
never do anything with it. I love to execute and I have been able to achieve
success in the business world only because I took action. I didn’t always get
things right at first, but by taking action – I put myself in a position to win
and learn.
INTERVIEWER:
wow, that’s great! You have launched several start-ups that were
successful like Statfuse, Vintelli, JBmediaforce, Appzeria. Quite incredible.
Tell us a little about the them?
JEET: Sure thing. StatFuse helps high school students and community college
students find out their odds of admission into Universities and analyzes their
college applications. Vintelli is pivoting into a new business model that will
help you collect email subscribers through social media, websites and other 3rd
party platforms. JB Media Force was a multimedia company I started and sold
after growing it to 15+ employees. Appzeria is an in-house app publishing
company where we launch numerous different mobile applications with hopes of
making passive income.
INTERVIEWER: You are so young yet successful
author and business speaker. How do you manage this with schooling?
JEET: In the beginning, it was extremely difficult balancing school and class.
The last 2 semesters, I have taken time off from school so that I can fully
focus on my businesses.
INTERVIEWER: What do you think were your
greatest challenges in launching your internet companies? Did you really know
how to code before launching them?
JEET: My biggest challenge was overcoming my age. I was terrified of how
people would perceive me in the world and that limited my action. Once I was
able to overcome that, I didn’t face too many challenges I couldn’t overcome.
Aside from the very basics of coding, I never knew how to code and I still
don’t know how to code. I higher other developers experienced at coding to take
on my projects.
INTERVIEWER: Definitely, you have some people
and maybe notable figures in history who has influenced your business and
personal life. Who are they?
JEET: Steve Jobs is probably one of the biggest inspirations and influences.
He showed me another perspective to life and really promotes you to think in
new ways through his words.
INTERVIEWER: are you currently planning another
great start-up company or project?
JEET: I’m currently just focusing on the ones I have in front of me. I am a
startup advisor so I am working with many great entrepreneurs to consult them
in their next big project.
INTERVIEWER: How do you feel being featured in
New York Times, Yes Magazine, Venturebeat.com and other host of Business media?
JEET: It’s an honor. The fact that publications such as yours want to talk
to me and hear my opinion, it means the world to me.
INTERVIEWER: Is money really required to launch
a startup or ideas?
JEET: No, I started with $0. Money gives you comfort when you start a
business, but if you have none you can still be successful. It takes a lot of
hustle and intelligent planning.
INTERVIEWER: Have you ever been humiliated by
big older guys out there?
JEET: Yeah, I definitely have – I actually share this story in my TEDx talk
that I gave recently: TEDx Interview with Jeet
INTERVIEWER: What are your habits of success or
things you do that get you motivated?
JEET: I surround myself with like-minded individuals. People who think like
me and want to be someone I would want to be. By doing this, I’m constantly
motivated to succeed.
INTERVIEWER: Are there blogs and bloggers you
respect and follow?
JEET: Neil Patel at QuickSprout is a pretty big blogger and influencer in my
entrepreneurial life. Other then that, I normally just follow posts more than I
do blogs.
INTERVIEWER: What advice will you give to young
aspiring minds out there?
JEET: Doubt and fear kills more dreams than failure ever will. If you’re
scared and worried, it’s okay. Every successful person was once there. They are
now on the other side of the table only because they took a chance on their
dreams.
INTERVIEWER: There are young entrepreneurs who
are motivated when they hear about young
millionaires. Have you made up to a Million Dollars A year Before?
JEET: I don’t like publicly discussing too much about my finances. I don’t
believe success and life is about how much money you make. Success to me is
doing what I love without worrying about financial gain.
INTERVIEWER: Before we wrap up, Please
Jeet, what do you think is the challenge
fellow young stars need to tackle to get to the top?
JEET: They need to tackle their inner selves. Too many people are holding
themselves down by having negative thoughts and limiting their minds, I want
people to overcome this challenge.
INTERVIEWER: Give us your final word
JEET: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with me, I hope I was
able to share some valuable information with your audience!
INTERVIEWER: Thank you Mr Jeet Banerjee. We need more people like you with strong
entrepreneurial spirit and great acheivements. Thanks for your time.
