7 Laws Of Self Mastery That Works in Business

I have always followed the teachings of Jim Rohn for quite sometime now. I have come across several laws that works and those that doesn’t work but I will not give you 1001 tips of peak performance as a business man, but just 7 laws I truly know works wonders. This is exactly how to take hold of your life for success extraordinaire!

LAW 1: DREAMS COME TRUE WHEN YOU ACT:

Just forget it when you dream about only how you can own a wonderful home on the beach front with Maui type of coconut trees and cool breeze like that of the Island of Maldives but you don’t commit to work. Everyone has a destiny and the way one thinks of success is not the same way another will think of such. Success is a progressive realization of a worthwhile goal or vision as ordained by God. This means, everybody has equal financial destiny but the disparity is that everybody does not have equal commitment. So, allow your dreams to flow but give it a support. Do always act. Dream of becoming a multi-millionaire or even increasing your income level. You earn less than $200,000 a year and you want to increase it to $1 million, fine! Dream, write, plan and act. Do it like no man’s business.

Jim Rohn said, ”You will either look back with joy or regrets.” Your dreams will come true when you act.

LAW 2: NO BODY CAN DO IT BETTER THAN YOU:

Nobody can do it better than you. The world actually is at your feet! Give respect and regard to experts in different fields but make yourself a master of your own domain. Keep it tact and don’t ever allow anybody to confuse you of that. Get hold of a domain that truly forms your passion. If you are working at a job and you aren’t enjoying it, well do yourself a favour. Quit! Go become your own boss. Create jobs for people, then do it like no man can beat you to it. There are several business men that became quite rich holding to their own philosophy of making money. Whatever your niche is, work yourself up to the zenith with the mindset that nobody can do it better than you.

LAW3: CREATE A VISION, IT GIVES YOU A BOUNDARY:

Ever wondered why you aren’t stable or why you have not truly achieved great feats in your business, well, maybe anything goes for you. Vision is a conceptual view of the near future. It is a rundown of your track to achievement. It is the force behind concentrated effort for maximum success. There are several niches and industries today where one can truly make millions from, either online or offline. Whichever you choose, stay with a vision. It guides your choice daily. Everything you do must be geared towards that simple vision you have written for yourself. Vision gives you a leverage for quick decisions and business strategies.

LAW 4: SIT DOWN, SETTLE WITH ONE AT A TIME

I have been a victim of quick ideas and instant action and it ends me up without any powerful achievement. While working on an idea or project, you can control the kind of ideas that flow to you. With the power of concentration, you direct your thoughts to flow only in accordance with your set goals or project at hand. This gives speed and highest performance. Sometimes you allow ideas to flow, when they come, write them down. Pick one and settle to finish it. If it is not working when you have exhausted all options, move to the next. That is a simple principle to unlimited success. At least you are progressing.

LAW 5: PRACTICE, DARE TO CONQUER NEW ZONES

 In business, there is no sonorous way of going by it, the faster changes occur, the faster business processes must adapt to it. In fact, changes are happening faster today than most businesses and entrepreneurs are realizing it. Business success has principles which remain profitable, but definitely business processes changes. When the mail order companies where flourishing, internet usage was still minimum. In the dotcom boom and the advent of the Electronic MAIL system, that announced the death of Mail Order companies unless they decided to move fast. Today, to become a disruptive name in your niche and in the business world, be a change addict.

LAW 6: CONFIDENCE, DEVELOP IT

I wonder how you will ever conquer the business world like Richard Branson without hard confidence. The fact is Business is like a game. When you play by the rules, you win. It takes confidence to play by the rules friend. Like those rules of BE YOUR OWN BOSS, PAY YOURSELF FIRST, STUDY THE FUTURE WORTH OF A BUSINESS INSTEAD OF PRESENT WORTH when buying a business. Well, all those work. But you have got to build high self-esteem and strong confidence that you can truly win.

LAW 7:BECOME A MASTER
Strive to really be a master. You have what it takes. Do not enter any business industry without a goal to disrupt what is already happening. Try to operate by different set of rules that works for you. Do not settle for less, rule your own world. The fact is every successful business man had core values that affected the way they do business. Define what you want and be a master in it, at whatever cost.
